A Nespresso machine, capsules, and milk can make a great latte at home. There’s no need to go to the coffee shop and wait in line, and thanks to the Nespresso pods, there’s little to no mess to clean up at home afterward.
With a growing collection of recipes and the addition of a reliable milk frother, I’ve been enjoying my “barista” skills every morning when I spend a few minutes making my latte.
In this recipe roundup, you’ll find my seven favorite simple and easy Nespresso Latte recipes for you to try out. There are options whether you prefer your latte classic, flavored, or dairy-free.
Our Favorite Option For Frothing Milk With Nespresso
If your Nespresso doesn’t have a steam wand, invest in a good milk frother. We reviewed several milk frothers and recommend the Aeroccino 4 for the best balance of capabilities and price.
A good milk frother makes a great cafe-style latte a lot easier. The Aerocinno 4 creates a great texture that’s rich but still easy to pour.

1. Vanilla Latte
Vanilla Latte (source: monikercoffee)
The first latte I ever had was a vanilla latte, and I was hooked. The smell of vanilla is perfect first thing in the morning, and the drink is comforting whether it’s made hot or iced.
1. Place 1 oz vanilla syrup into a mug or glass.
2. Foam hot milk (or cold foam for iced) in an Aeroccino and pour into the glass.
3. Stir to combine.
4. Brew a Vertuo: Voltesso pod directly into the milk.
5. Top with whipped cream if desired.
2. Campfire Mocha Latte

By bringing together the sweetness of chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers, this campfire mocha latte will make you nostalgic and feel like a kid again (although adults deserve s’mores, too).
1. Pour two teaspoons of marshmallow or s’mores syrup into a mug and one tablespoon of melted chocolate or chocolate syrup.
2. Froth 120 ml of milk or milk substitute. Pour into the glass and mix gently.
3. Brew an Arpeggio or Roma Nespresso pod directly into a mug.
4. Top with milk foam and garnish with graham cracker crumbs or a toasted marshmallow.
3. Maple Brown Sugar Oat Milk Latte

This maple brown sugar oat milk latte is super easy to make, with creamy oat milk and earthy brown sugar and maple. Enjoy it hot in the fall as a nice pick-me-up or iced for summer.
1. Add half a teaspoon of brown sugar and one teaspoon of maple syrup to a mug and stir to combine.
2. Brew a Vertuo double espresso pod directly into the mug and stir until the sugar and syrup dissolve.
3. While the espresso is brewing, froth 125 ml of oat milk in a milk frother. Once it’s frothy, add to the mug and top with foam.
For an iced version, repeat the same process, but brew the pod over ice and cold oat milk foam.
4. Nespresso Latte Macchiato

The latte macchiato is a layered version of the classic latte. This simple drink is creamy and emphasizes the tasting notes of the Nespresso pod.
1. Froth 120-200 ml of milk until it has a smooth texture. Pour about a quarter of the milk into a tall mug.
2. Brew a Volluto or Grand Cru capsule into a mug.
3. Slowly add the remainder of the frothed milk to create layers.
4. Optionally, add a drizzle of caramel or chocolate sauce on top if you prefer a sweeter drink.
5. Chili Chocolate Latte

This chili chocolate latte is the drink for you if you like spicy and want to try a new latte flavor. Chili and dark chocolate go together especially well. If you don’t have chili dark chocolate, use plain chocolate and a tiny pinch of cayenne.
1. Froth 125 ml of milk, then add 30 ml of chocolate syrup. Stir gently.
2. Pour the milk into the serving glass.
3. Brew a Robusta Ugana or favorite espresso capsule into the glass.
4. Garnish with chopped chili dark chocolate and a chili pepper for decoration.
6. Golden Turmeric Latte

Turmeric is believed to have some health benefits, but this golden turmeric latte using Caramel Crème Brûlée flavored coffee and either soy or oat milk is sweet and deep, which is reason enough to give it a try. Brew it hot, or try it poured over ice.
1. Froth 120 ml of soy or oat milk with one teaspoon of turmeric powder. Pour the hot milk mixture into a glass or mug.
2. Brew a Caramel Crème Brûlée Nespresso capsule on top.
3. Garnish with a sprinkle of turmeric powder or fresh ginger for a little extra zip.
7. Eggnog Latte
Eggnog Latte (source: highergroundcafeyyc)
While the eggnog latte is usually considered a holiday drink and only available for a few months, don’t let that stop you from enjoying it hot or iced the rest of the year. Rich and aromatic, it makes a great breakfast drink, or you can use decaf Nespresso pods for an after-dinner dessert.
1. Brew a double espresso Scuro capsule or Chiaro pod into a mug.
2. Heat and froth 80 ml of milk and 160 ml of eggnog together.
3. Pour the heated milk over the coffee and spoon on some of the froth.
4. Garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg.
Plant-based milk and eggnog alternatives can be substituted. Just make sure they are cold so they froth well.
