This pod’s intensity level is a slightly mellow 5 out of 13, which means the bitterness is lower for a more pleasant drinking experience. Even though it’s rated to have more acidity, I hardly notice this aspect in the cup.
The Vertuo Colombia pod brews a full cup of coffee, around 7.77 oz in size. Its moderate intensity level and less bitterness make it a real crowd-pleaser, while the darker fruit taste adds an interesting layer to the coffee’s character.

You get a strong sweetness from the African beans, while the Brazilian beans add balance.
This pod is a limited edition, so it’s rarely available outside the holidays, but when you see it around the end of the year, make sure to pick it up. The pod is the 7.7 oz cup size.

Nespresso has an intensity scale of 1 to 13. The lower the number, the lower the intensity (and the lighter the roast), and vice versa.

Light roasts have the highest acidity and brighter flavors. The medium roast has medium acidity and a balanced flavor profile. Dark-roasted coffee has the lowest acidity and dark flavors.
